Our Life Skills Program
Our Life Skills Program is a comprehensive curriculum designed for young people and adults ages 14 and up from foster care, under-resourced, and historically underserved communities.
Through a series of interactive workbooks and guided learning experiences, students build the real-world skills required to live with confidence, stability, and independence.
What sets our program apart is how students learn. Instead of simply being told what to do, students practice doing it in real time. Through hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, and step-by-step simulations, students apply what they are learning as they go — opening mock bank accounts, planning budgets, navigating transportation, preparing meals, practicing professional communication, and more. This approach allows students to build confidence through experience, not just instruction.
Our curriculum is designed to meet students where they are and walk with them as they grow, whether they are just beginning to learn how adult systems work or preparing to take their next step into independent living, college, or the workforce.
